Shockwave
Shockwave (Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy) is a non-invasive treatment, designed to stimulate the healing. It is clinically proven to be effective on a wide range of chronic conditions.
It delivers high-energy acoustic pulses into the damaged area, causing ‘shockwaves’ within the tissue. It causes a pro-inflammatory response in the tissue being treated, increasing blood flow to the area and initiating a repair response. It can also reduce chronic pain signals.
